The piece measures 37” square with a 4 1/2” fringe all the way around

Vintage Sequin Applique Purple and Black Flower 1940s Hand Sewn Unused NOS linen summer suit The size label reads 44This is a lovely old hand sequinned floral appliqu that came from the remaining inventory of the workshop of a lady who had a trim and sequining business from the 1930s through to the 1960s. She supplied many of the dressmakers and couturiers located in Canada and the US. I estimate that this piece most likely dates to the 1940s due to its style and the type of sequins used. It is hand applied onto a buckram type mesh backing it is quite impressive
