it's a good feeling to be coming off the mountain to the warmth and safety of home

It was a beautiful sunny morning with puffy white clouds in the sky and I just tried to capture the great feeling that was there from my memory

This painting depicts packing some elk meat out of that country in the late fall

it’s a pretty good feeling to just ride along

Theyll get behind you, or sneak out around and get behind you. And then they take off in the other direction and leave you. And you never see them. Thats what Im trying to depict in this painting. This is in a place called Willow Creek Canyon in Southeastern Idaho. It depicts that incident happening to a hunter.
